MadSavvy is from the northeast but has called Miami home for a few years now.  His sound expresses his love for aggressive bass and beats rooted in that unmistakable boom-bap style; aiming for use of the familiar reimagined into something modern.  Upon relocating to Miami, Savvy has been able to perform much more and has had the opportunity to support notable producers, the best of his local community and some of his idols as well.  Moving forward, his main focus will be touring, maintain his regular events, building Strange Media Productions with his good friend LAMEBOT and of course, writing more music!


On Psychedelics:

We need to respect how much our thoughts and mental state shape our lives.  Think about what emotional stress does to the body and how it can redirect life.  Equally important, our minds also have the ability to put us at ease and improve our perspective.

I feel those in need of treatment and those that seek to relax and expand their minds should have access to what works for them.  The main goal of taking psychedelics is to experience a state of euphoria and a drug like psilocybin, found in mushrooms, tends to have very few side effects.  Most comparable prescription drugs come with pretty severe warnings, some include suicide.

We are just beginning to understand the way the brain works and psychedelics as treatment still has limits put on it’s research.  In short, by concentrating on understanding rather than profit, we can all have access to something if we decide it improves our lives.
